International Students
Certificate in English Language is specifically designed for international students to improve their English Language skills from basic to proficient level. You will be joining us from 6 months to 11 months language course.
Our fun and engaging courses help to develop all four skills of the English language: reading, writing, speaking, and listening, with a focus on improving your ability to communicate clearly and effectively. All students will study a core course of 15 hours per week and twice a week.
There are four compulsory modules, and each consist of language skill of speaking, Writing, listening and reading. The length of each module is 6 weeks
Module 1: Reading Skills
Building reading comprehension skills through authentic texts and develop strategies to understand complex texts, including academic articles, essays, and everyday written materials.
Analysing and interpreting written material
Module 2: Writing Skills
Developing paragraph structure and coherence in writing Practicing different types of writing (emails, formal letters, short essays).
practice efficient reading methods to quickly find key information in texts without losing comprehension.
Module 3: Speaking Skills
Enhancing conversational fluency and accuracy and practice speaking in English with a focus on improving pronunciation, intonation, and overall fluency for clear communication.
Practicing speaking in various contexts (discussions, debates, presentations). Developing listening skills through authentic audio materials Improving pronunciation, intonation, and stress patterns
Module 4: Listening Skills
Learn techniques to improve comprehension of spoken English in academic, professional, and everyday settings.
Practice with a variety of listening exercises, including conversations, lectures, podcasts, and multimedia content.
Master note-taking techniques and learn to identify key information from spoken English.
Get individual feedback to track progress and address specific challenges in understanding different accents, speech speeds, and idiomatic expressions.
Please note that additional modules are also available for those who are taking more comprehensive and intense programme
