About Your blended Degree Pathway
Your course is delivered blended or online through an engaging array of learning materials. So, you will find your education both interesting and rewarding. As a self-paced blended learning course, you can also work towards your qualification without pressure, around your existing commitments
This has been made possible through our partnership with OTHM, an Ofqual-regulated global awarding organisation that spans more than 50 countries worldwide. OTHM partners with 25 UK and international universities, providing top-up degrees to learners seeking an alternative to traditional university learning.
What Will You Learn
Health and Social Care is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the health and social care sector at a support worker, senior support worker or care assistant level. The programme enables learners to demonstrate their skills by producing evidence from their work activities, to meet national occupational standards. Learners will acquire skills to support a role in the Health and Social Care sector or progress to further study.
Earn your Degree without High Costs
If you’re seeking a more affordable, quicker, and flexible way to earn a degree in health and social care, you’re in the right place. This blended learning programme lets you complete the first two years of university from home or in the campus once a week. After finishing, you’ll secure a spot in the third year at university. Plus, this alternative path helps you avoid accumulating significant student debt.
This approach makes it easier to pursue a career in health and social care while balancing your current responsibilities. By replacing traditional classes and rigid schedules with blended learning, you can advance at your own speed and move on to the final stage whenever you’re ready.
Amazingly Affordable Alternative Degree Programme
The latest change in student finance rules will see university graduates doubling their student loan repayments. This is in addition to repaying their student loans when they earn an annual salary of £24,990 instead of the £27,660 it was before according to www.gov.uk / repaying you student loan. With inflation and interest rates rising in the UK due to the ongoing cost of living crisis, university graduates are affected. For the 2022/23 academic year, there was a risk of student loan interest rates reaching 12%, further hitting the pockets of students.
Due to the current economic uncertainty, a university graduate could end up with an average of £43,700 of student loan debt, with tuition fees costing an average of £9,250 per year according to house of commons Library (Student Loan Statistics). According to YouGov latest report on 1st July 2024, 38% of people feel that current tuition fees are unfair, so it’s no surprise that many are looking for alternative options. Here at Londoncps, we can offer you an affordable alternative that covers the first and second year of a degree for a fraction of the cost of the traditional route.
